Nikos Baskozos is from Athens, Greece. He holds a diploma in architecture from the University of Patras and a master’s degree in music creation for new media from the University of Athens. He was actively involved in the Athenian experimental rock scene for several years, touring in the US and Europe as a drummer, and participating in recordings as a composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. In recent years, his main focus has been computer music, particularly working with large sound collections in Max/MSP. He was a guest researcher at IRCAM-STMS Lab and at RITMO Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Rhythm, Time and Motion. His music has been performed at ICMC 2026, Évora_27 – European Capital of Culture, and Electroacoustic Music Days 2024.
